Khabaryar (Urdu: خبریار‎) is an Urdu and Punjabi parody network show on Pakistani news channel Neo News. It began broadcasting on November 19, 2018.[1][2][3]

History

Khabaryar is the fifth demonstration of a comparable type launched by Aftab Iqbal. Hasb-e-Haal was launched in January 2009. In April 2010, Aftab Iqbal left the show because of undisclosed reasons, which led Junaid Saleem to host the show. Next, Aftab Iqbal launched Khabarnaak on GEO TV in 2010 from which he went separate ways in August 2015. He joined Express-News to launch Khabardaar which ran until April 2018. Aftab Iqbal announced that he is working on his own news channel on which his next show will air. Around October 2018, his TV Channel was named Aap News, where he oversees the administrative undertakings. The show has been in pre-production since August and began production and shooting after Aap News was announced. The show began airing on Aap News from November 19, 2018. And it ended on January 3, 2020. Now another show of Aftab Iqbal began airing from January 23, 2020, on Neo News.
