PT. Kharisma Starvision Plus, also known as Starvision for short, is an Indonesian film production company headquartered in the Cempaka Putih, Central Jakarta. Since its founding on October 10, 1985 by Chand Parwez Servia, Starvision is now one of the biggest and most productive production companies in Indonesia with hundreds of feature films and television films, also dozens of soap operas. Some of Starvision's best-selling films are Si Kabayan Saba Kota, Check the Store Next Door, and Get Married. Several Starvision films that have won national and international awards are Perempuan Berkalung Sorban, Two Blue Stripes, Yuni, and Sweet 20.[1]

In 1985, Chand Parwez Servia founded a film company PT. Kharisma Jabar Film in Bandung, West Java. The first film produced was Pacar Pertama (1986). Then in 1989, Si Kabayan Saba Kota was released, starring by Didi Petet and Paramitha Rusady which became the most successful movie of the year and awarded as Best Comedy Film at Indonesian Film Festival 1990.[2]

In 1995, Parwez and his younger brother, Fiaz Servia and assisted by Shanker RS ​​and Raj Indra Singh, both of whom had retired early from Raam Punjabi's Multivision Plus, established a new film and television production house called PT. Kharisma Starvision Plus. Various works have been presented by Starvision ranging from feature films, soap operas, television films, sitcoms, and web series.[2]
