PT. Lion Express (Lion Parcel) is an international courier, package delivery service, which is a division of the Indonesian airlines firm Lion Air Group.[1]
The company was founded in Jakarta, Indonesia, on 14 February 2013 and expanded its service throughout Asia by 2015. They are supported by Lion Air Group airlines, Lion Air, Batik Air and Wings Air as their backbone.
Environmental record
Lion Parcel has taken measures to control their environmental impact by use of alternative fuel vehicles, GESITS. Lion Parcel changed vehicles in certain delivery fleets in order to use alternative fuel or electric vehicles. They became the first Indonesian courier that implemented electric motors as part of their delivery services. With this initiative, they will reduce air pollution in Indonesia and reduce carbon emissions.[2]
