Khul Ke is an Indian social networking service, owned by Mumbai-based Loktantra Mediatech. It was founded by Piyush Kulshreshtha.[2] The app had a test launch in early 2022. The app was formally launched in February 2023.[3]

History

The first campaign for Khulke was launched in July 2022 to commemorate India’s glorious run to its 75th Independence Day.[4][5]

The platform was born from founder Piyush Kulshreshtha's observation that India needed a platform to create meaningful conversations.[6][7]

Interface and features

KhulKe integrates multiple features to make it stand out from other social media platforms.[8][9]

  • Roundtable: This allows users to have moderated conversations
  • Townhall: This is a microblogging avenue
  • Yapp: This allows private messaging between users
  • Snip-it: This is a short video destination, with videos up to 150 seconds
  • MeetUp: This is a video-meeting service

Response
