Know-it-all

A know-it-all or know-all is a person who constantly presents their input as though they were professionally trained, schooled or have firsthand insight into subjects when it is evident this is not the case. [1]
Know-it-all in other Languages
- Arabic: Abu Al-Orraif which translates to the "Father of Knowledge", is a term used in Arabic Language to describe those who stick their noses in everything and they interfere in subjects they did not study nor understand.[2]
- German: The German word Besserwisser is also used in some languages, literally meaning "better knower".
- Spanish: un Sabelotodo, meaning that they know it all.
- Tamil: The Tamil language equivalent appatakkar was popularised through its usage in the film Boss Engira Bhaskaran (2010).[3][4]
- Turkish: Bilmiş meaning “someone who knew” (using so-called “hearsay” case of the verb). Sometimes used as çok bilmiş to further express frustration.
