Koolkart was an e-commerce company in India. It is a social shopping community, where shoppers see products shared by other users of the site.[1] Their product categories were[2] apparel, jewellery and home decor. It is a marketplace for designers[3] to showcase and sell their products.
Koolkart was founded by Suneil Chawla, a graduate from Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad and Anupam Agarwal, a graduate of Indian Institute of Technology Delhi and Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad.[4] Suneil Chawla is also the co-founder of Social Beat, a digital marketing services startup.[5]
Koolkart was shut down due to many reasons that included the harsh fund raising environment around 2012-2013.[6]
