Kumari Radha (1936–2002) (Hindi : कुमारी राधा) a Hindi and Magahi (मगही; मगधी) poet.
Biography
Kumari Radha was born on September 7th, 1936 in the village of Jiwachpur, located in Supaul Bihar. She was the second daughter in a family of five children. Her father was Dr. Lakshmi Prashad. Her mother was Indira Devi.
She completed her primary education in her village, and she earned a B.A (Honours) from Patna University in 1966. Later, she completed her master's degree, M.A (Hindi) in 1968. As a student, she began taking an interest in literature, arts, social and political work. Later, she retired from her position as assistant editor of Departmental journal "Shramik" (Hindi : श्रमिक), which orgiginates in the Department of Labor Employment. (Patna, Bihar.)
