LasGiiDi (born 10 May 1994), known by his real name Olutade Adepoju is a Nigerian (Afrobeat producer, rapper & singer) recording artist. LasGiiDi bridges both the afrobeats fanatic in Africa and the ones outside of Africa with melodious sound.

Childhood and musical beginning

LasGiiDi was born and raised in Africa's heart, Lagos, Nigeria, on the 10th of May 1994 and later moved to the United States in 2005. Education has been a priority in the African home, hindering his quest for music while he pursued his education all the way to getting a bachelor's degree in chemistry with hopes of going to pharmacy school in the near future. While LasGiiDi juggled everyday life hustle with music and school, he slowly crept into the African music scene in the diaspora, touring with Davido, Iyanya, Olamide, Dremo, Tekno, Phyno etc.; LasGiiDi won the hearts of these Afrobeats pioneers[disambiguation needed] which created strong ties for him with them and also broadened his ever-energetic fan base.

Music career

Fast rising American based award winning afrobeat producer, rapper & singer LasGiiDi attained a high level of commercial presence after dropping hit single "Logo" in summer 2016. LasGiiDi released Ligali[1]," Touch the sky" featuring Chyn and Vanessa Mumba[2] and also "My Squad" featuring Bils[3]. Since then LasGiiDi has built a strong portfolio in the afrobeats scene by collaborating with one of Africa's biggest artist Olamide on 2 songs "Who you epp"[4] & "Bottles." LasGiiDi racked up a few awards since he emerged into the music world, one of his phenomenal achievements was when he won one of Africa's biggest awards in America "AFRIMMA awards" in October 2015 which had him performing with the likes of Wizkid, Davido, Yvonne chaka chaka, Psquare, 2face, T-pain, Diamond platinum etc. LasGiiDi latest track will soon be released, Tittled "One Shot" featuring DJ Poison Ivy and Giggz[5]. LasGiiDi has always wanted touch lives and make people enjoy life[6].
