It touches on "strained relationships, personal failures and the nagging insecurities that transcend time and place.". It has been described as an album "filled cover to cover with guitar driven dynamics, catchy sing-a-longs, and dual male and female vocal duties delivered with conviction and an earnest simplicity at times and convincing spirit at others."
