Levy Mehlape, better known by his stage name LevaSoul SA , is a South African Musician/singer, songwriter, and producer.[4]He rose to fame after the release of his 2019 single "Ale Swane" and "Chomi" (2020), which gave him more strength to keep on bringing more hits. He is known for singing in the Khelobedu language, which are local dialects of Northern Sotho.[5]
Life and career[edit]
Levy Mehlape[6] was born on 11 February 1999 in Polokwane in Limpopo. LevaSoul has three sisters a. He attended school at Badimong Primary School and Marobathota High School where he finish his matric in 2019 and he started to work hard to pursue his career in music. On 18 January 2018, Ale Swane was released and played on Lesedi FM.[7] He worked at Motionsense HD and Gateway FM as a Music Compiler/Producer, started to being a Dj at taverns and later got into music production.[8] As a producer, he can do about any style not limited to Afro-tech, Afropop, BoloHouse and Hip Hop. His favorite Genre which he does the most is Bolo House..[9]
Personal life[edit]
LevaSoul SA felt in love with music and acting back in 2015 where he started Djying, participating in school dramas. LevaSoul SA grew up, he came up with his first stage name that was called "Troshka DeDj". He loved the name and didn't know the name was already in use by a famous artist who goes by name "Troshka The DJ". He then came up with his great and beautiful name(LevaSoul SA).
