Dr Jules has been in the DJ business for more than twenty years. He is currently extending to some degree into music production and radio. He has played at various clubs in and around Cape Town, Durban and Johannesburg with a few proposals to play abroad. He is highly known for his radio personality on Good Hope FM. [1]
Career
He presently has gigs consistently and endeavours to deliver what people have generally expected from "The Dr". However, he feels that he still has a great deal to achieve in the Mother City. He plays everything from Hip Hop to House with numerous variations in between.
His specialty lies in engaging and educating a crowd with current, new and reimagined trends in music. Jules specialises in popular "turntablist" techniques like scratching, mashups.[2]
Every Friday and Saturday Dr Jules features local DJs on the Award-winning radio show Good Hope FM to get your Pre-Party mix started.[3][4]
