Levon a
Levon a (a novel, backwards) is a novel written by J.D. Radke that begins on page 333 and then moves backward to page one.[1][2][3]
Like the wooden box that contains a baby’s hand in the plot, the book opens horizontally, then must be flipped vertically to read the first chapter. Chapter numbers begin at 19 (page 333) and end at chapter one on page one.[4]
The story’s heroine was created in collaboration with a real-life Chinese activist known as Sheng Xue.[5] Poet Sheng Xue wrote numerous books that are banned today in China, including alternative versions of Chinese history based on firsthand accounts, investigative reporting of Chinese graft, and a much-loved set of poems, Seeking the Soul of Snow.
