He is a classically trained musician and was once the associate premier violinist of Guangxi Symphony Orchestra. He is now based in Beijing and has been a long-time collaborator of Jonathan Lee (musician) for the past two decades.[1][2][3]. Their collaboration goes beyond Mandopop music[4][5][6], including the 2018 musical "Road to Heaven: The Jonathan Lee Musical"[7] and the much anticipated project "Shijing" (Chinese: 詩經; also the "Book of Songs" or the Classic of Poetry)[8]
