life:) (Belarus) is a brand of the Belarusian mobile operator CJSC "Belarusian Telecommunications Network". It provides communication services of GSM and UMTS standards on the territory of the Republic of Belarus.
History
CJSC "Belarusian Telecommunications Network" was registered on November 5, 2004. On March 24, 2005 it obtained the license for communication service of GSM standard, connection of subscribers began in December 2005. The founders of the joint-stock company were the research republican unitary enterprise "Scientific Research Institute of Automation Equipment" and the republican unitary enterprise "Beltelekom" with shares in an authorized capital of 75% and 25% respectively. Both founders have the state form of ownership. In November 2007 the company carried out rebranding and provided the new slogan "Itself among ourselves".
On July 29, 2008 the Turkish telecommunication company “Turkcell” signed an agreement on acquisition of 80% of shares of CJSC “Belarusian Telecommunications Network”. The amount of shares of the "Belarusian Telecommunications Network" company is acquired at the State Property Committee of Belarus (the founders of the company gratuitously transferred to it the right of actions management).
In December 2008 the company made the next rebranding and started rendering services under the life:) trademark used by a subsidiary “Turkcell” company in Ukraine. "Everything is possible" became the slogan of the company.
In November 2009 life:) (Belarus) was the first in the country to start rendering communication services of the 3G standard, and since March 2010, started using 3.75G (HSPA+) network.
In March 2011 life:) was the first in Belarus to begin LTE (4G) technology testing. Today the company continues to work in the direction of speed increase and data transmission efficiency.
On May 23, 2012 life:) (Belarus) started the unique loyalty program called “my life:)” allowing to receive considerable discounts for various actions and purchases.
In a year, on June 11, 2013, the program was officially called the Best Loyalty program in the region of Eastern Europe at a ceremony of awards presenting the most prestigious world competition in the field of various programs of loyalty called “World Loyalty Awards”. In November 2012 life:) (Belarus) offered the subscribers a new line of tariff plans "yo" completed with a set of useful services. In February 2014 the company for the first time in Belarus started "SMS-ticket" system - an analog of a counter for one trip in the metro.
In spring 2014 life:) (Belarus) started a new campaign named "life:) Big network". "Big network" is all subscribers of mobile communication of Belarus. The campaign purpose is to destroy borders between different networks and to create comfortable and favorable conditions for communication irrespective of what services of the Belarusian mobile operator the subscriber to whom the call is addressed uses. The company offered the subscribers a new line of tariff plans "XS", "S", "M", "L" and "XL", developed by taking into account actual requirements and the latest tendencies in the market of mobile communication.

As of May 2014 2G life:) network covers 93.7% of the territory of the country on which about 99.74% of the population of the country lives. 3G life:) network covers 29.6% of the territory of the country on which about 82.10% of the population of the country lives. life:) network in Belarus is served by about 4,000 base stations of the GSM900/DCS1800/UMTS2100 standard.
The clients of the company can use service of international roaming in 105 countries all over the world. life:) (Belarus) has 15 own service centers in Belarus. The dealer network on the territory of the Republic of Belarus has 132 exclusive sales points, about 277 official representatives of the company (dealers), 170 shops of partners "Euroset" and "Svyaznoy", offering the life:) (Belarus) services. Life:) salons are presented in 120 cities of the country.
Also over 100 active sellers (promoters) work all over the company at 50 places.

Due to the "Number Transfer" (MNP) service which exists in the Republic of Belarus numbers can also accept the following format: +375 29 xxx xx xx, +375 33 xxx xx xx, +375 44 xxx xx xx.
