Lindy Chen is an author and businesswoman. She is the founder of China Direct Sourcing Services and the author of Import from China: How to Make a Million and Not Get Burnt!

Life and career[edit]

Born in China, Chen grew up in Guiyang. She graduated from Tianjin University, after which she worked for two companies in China. Chen went to Australia as an international student in 2002. She sold movie tickets door-to-door, and worked on improving her English and learning local customs.[1]

In 2005, she founded China Direct Sourcing. This business helped local Australian companies build their businesses by importing from China. As of 2011, she had helped her clients save over $5 million in manufacturing and importing costs. Chen made an appearance on the local television show How To Get That Job.[2]

In 2017, Chen founded FRETHAN Chain blockchain technology.[3]

Chen is the advisor of ContraCoin.[4]

Chen is the founding president of Australia Blockchain Alliance (ABA).[5]

Chen is the president of Sunnybank Chamber of Commerce.[6]
