List of Honolulu Police Department officers killed in the line of duty
The following Honolulu Police Department (HPD) officers died in the line of duty. As of 2020, 47 HPD officers have died in the line of duty.[1]
In 2011, Governor Neil Abercrombie signed a public law authorizing the construction of a state law enforcement memorial at the Hawaii State Capitol using private funds.[2] The memorial was completed in 2016, honoring fallen law enforcement officers from across the state of Hawaii.[3]
