List of Muslims who won international beauty pageants
Beauty pageants are arranged to find out best beauties around the world. But due to conservative backgrounds of Muslims, they refrain from sending beauty pageants at major contests. However, Muslim majority countries like Egypt, Lebanon, Jordan, Indonesia etc. like to send contestants having Christian backgrounds. Only Turkey have sent Muslim contestants at the beauty pageants at a regular basis. Muslims have only a Miss Universe and Miss World. Both of them are Turkish and two Miss Asia Pacific, both of them are Indian. The major Muslims at the international beauty contests are following:
