Lloyd Benjamin (born 1978) is an American artist, musician, and former gallery owner based in Atlanta, Georgia. Originally from Little Rock, Arkansas, Benjamin spent much of the early 2000s traveling the United States and Canada by freighthopping.[1][2] In 2004 he opened Get This! Gallery that held exhibitions for well-known artists such as Shara Hughes, Mike Brodie, Fahamu Pecou, Austin Eddy, and Alex Brewer.[3] The gallery held 50 exhibitions with eight acquisitions by the High Museum of Art before closing in 2014.[4] Benjamin has also been a member of notable[dubious ] bands The Divine Hook-Up and Affection.[5][6]
