LotLinx is a marketing technology suite used in the American and Canadian automotive industry. It is an automotive VIN-specific digital marketing suite.

Overview[edit]

LotLinx was founded in 2012,[1] and is a privately held[2] marketing technology company which sells to the automotive industry. LotLinx's technology helps automotive dealerships send potential buyers directly to a dealer's Vehicle Details Page (VDP).[3][4] The company is headquartered in Chicago.[5][6]

LotLinx helps automotive dealers match customer demand with inventory supply.[7] [8]

Products and services[edit]

LotLinx TURN is a cloud-based inventory and VIN-specific marketing platform that was released in 2017. It also helps manage sales objectives and prices based on inventory feeds and analytics.[9][10][11][12][13]

LotLinx VIN View Optimizer (VVO) is an interactive reporting tool that was released in 2016. [14][15]

LotLinx AMP (Accelerated Mobile Pages), released in 2017, is a product that aims to improve mobile advertising Call to Action and loading time.[16][17][18]

LotLinx Photo /AI/ was also released in 2017 and aims to correct underperforming advertisements with better photos.[19][20][21]

In 2010, LotLinx founders Len Short, Jason Knight, and Robert Vucic developed a platform to send buyers directly to Vehicle Detail Pages (VDPs). Chug.net was a Vehicle Display Network that enabled buyers to search dealer inventory by make, model, year, and color.[5]

LotLinx won the Digital Marketing Solutions category of the Automotive Website Awards in 2016,[22][23] 2017,[24][25] and 2018[26] for their ability to "help dealers to sell more cars in a digital age, as they are designed to increase the sales opportunities that dealers can have with in-market shoppers". LotLinx: Photo /AI/ was also awarded the AWA Rising Star award in 2018.[26]

In 2017, LotLinx expanded into cities in Canada such as Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver, and Quebec City, Edmonton, and Calgary.[27][28][29] Kijiji, Canada's largest automotive website, is the first Canadian online marketplace to partner with LotLinx.[30][31]

LotLinx partnered with VistaDash marketing analytics in 2017,[32] CarNow chat in 2017,[33] ActiveEngage chat in 2018,[34] and Contact At Once! chat and advertising in 2018.[35]
