Love Razer is a hard rock quartet based in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. The members include Sydney Snow, Metal Mike, Micky Bonez, and Crissy Stixx.[1] They are most notable for their 2016 Jack Daniel's Ultimate Supporting Act Contest win,[2] which gave them the means to record their album independently. In 2018, they were named one of the ten best hair metal revival bands[3] by Arte Sonora Magazine and voted in the top 20 albums of 2018 by the readers of Sleaze Roxx[4] as well as #4 in the Sleazeroxx writers' top five albums of 2018 from author Mark Horvath. [5] Löve Razër's song, "Turn it Up" has also been featured on Hockey Night in Canada during a Toronto Maple Leafs and Ottawa Senators regular season NHL game on opening night of the 2019-20 season. Background[edit]

Löve Razër is a Canadian hard rock band from Windsor, Ontario, Canada who has been listed with bands like Crazy Lixx and Crashdiet as "bringing back the 80s sound."[3] Their style of music has been described by The Huffington Post as 80s style metal, with huge choruses, thunderous riffs, and a lot of attitude.[8] To date, Löve Razër has played most of their shows in Ontario, including Toronto, Oshawa, and Hamilton.[9][10][11] They frequently cite their musical influences as hard rock bands Guns N’ Roses, Mötley Crüe, Aerosmith, Quiet Riot, Skid Row, and Pantera.[12][1]

In 2016, their EP was listed in the top ten albums of the year by the writers of Decibel Geek.[13][14] They played many shows in support of the EP, performing with touring acts Gilby Clarke, BulletBoys, Enuff Z Nuff, and L.A. Guns.[15][16][17] In August of 2017, they played at Hogs for Hospice in Leamington, Ontario, where they recorded the music video for their single, “Stuck Under You.” The event drew in over 1,200 bikers and raised over $200,000 for Hospice campus and health care in the Leamington, Ontario area. [18] [19] [20]

After returning to the studio to record with Martin Bak at SLR Studios in Windsor, Löve Razër released their first full-length studio album entitled “Border City Rebels” on April 23, 2018.[21] The album was widely praised in media circles as being one of the best hard rock albums of 2018.[22][12]

In a post on Sleazeroxx from September 18, 2019, the band is working on new songs this winter for a new album release in 2020.[23]
