Lucky Red S.r.l. is an Italian film production, distribution, and international sales company.
History
Origins
The company was founded by Italian actor Andrea Occhipinti in 1987. Primarily focused on distribution, it expanded to production as well in the late ‘80s and early ‘90s.
Distribution deals
Between 1996 and 2008, Lucky Red was the distributor of anime produced by Studio Ghibli.
In 2015, Lucky Red and Indigo Film co-founded True Colours, an international film sales company.[1] True Colours was the distributor for the Naruto anime films.[2]
