The Lycée International de Houston (LIH) is a bilingual private school for families in the Houston, Texas area from La Creche (18 months) – Terminale (12th Grade).

History[edit]

The school was founded in August 2017 ^[1] as an International private school.

Affiliations and Accreditations[edit]

Lycée International de Houston is a candidate school for the Diploma Program. This school is pursuing authorization as an IB World School.

LIH is in the process of being granted accredited status by the French Ministry of Education and by the Agency for French Education Abroad.

Curriculum[edit]

Lycée International de Houston bilingual and bicultural program provides a combination of the French structured learning methodology^[2] and the American pedagogical approach that encourages self-confidence, creativity and the respect of others. The school has a curriculum from La Creche (18 months) – Terminale (12th Grade).

Facilities[edit]

The School with a 10-acre campus is located in the heart of the Energy Corridor^[3] in Houston, Texas. The campus features a two-story building which includes instructional facilities, administrative offices, library, and meeting spaces.

Transportation[edit]

The Lycée International de Houston offers bus service to and from campus, servicing families who live further south, east, north or west of the campus in Houston, Texas.
