MXP: Most Xtreme Primate is a 2004 feature film, and the final film in the MVP trilogy, being a direct-to-video release as opposed to the previous two, which saw theatrical releases.. The film's title character, Jack, is a chimpanzee who snowboards, following the sporting formula of the previous two films.
Plot[edit]
Following on from the events of MVP 2, Jack has been disqualified from the ZHL, a fictional hockey league, and has returned to El Simian. His park ranger "mother" (Gwynyth Walsh) sees him depressed due to missing his time playing Ice hockey and decides to take him, alongside his brother, Louie, and two other chimpanzees, to Mexico. After Jack wanders off with an International school at the airport, he ends up on a flight to Colorado, where he befriends Pete (Devin Douglas Drewitz) and his older brother Jay (Trevor Wright). Jack learns to snowboard and enters a race with Pete. He is kidnapped by two gangsters (Ian Bagg and Robert Tinkler) looking to pay back their boss (James Crescenzo), who had bet a lot of money on Jack and Pete winning the race, and returns Jack to the race, which he and Pete win. Jack is reunited with his "mother", as well as Louie. Real life professional snowboarder Bjorn Leines snowboards with Pete as a reward for winning the race.
