Maddie Rey (born July 17, 1998), is an American Christian pop and Christian hip hop recording artist, songwriter and dancer. She began leading worship and performing as part of her family’s ministry, and hosted an online kids’ TV show called The Maddie Rey Show[1]. She is known for her songs “Don’t Sleep On Me (feat. Steven Malcolm)” and “Fire”.

Biography[edit]

Maddie Rey is the oldest child of Pastor Luis and Tricia Reyes, founders and Senior Pastors of Church of Joy in Chicago, Illinois[2]. When she was 12, Maddie began hosting an online kids TV show called “The Maddie Rey Show,” which ran for 4 years. When Maddie was 18 years old, she began working as the youth pastor at Church of Joy in Chicago.

Music career[edit]

Maddie Rey began her music career in 2015 with the release of Overflow. In 2018, Rey featured on the song “A Feeling Like This” on the album “Field Trip” by Skrip.
