Madhanamoham is a 2026 Indian Malayalam-language period drama film written and directed by Ram Chand Prasanth.[1] The film is produced by Madhu Soodanan under the banners of Vayakodan Movie Studio and New Gen Movie Makers. It stars Subhash Kongorpilly, Chandana Aravind, and Hanna Agarwal in lead roles.[2][3]
Plot
Set against the historical backdrop of Kerala, the film explores the period of Smartha Vicharam, a ritualistic trial used to discipline Nambudiri women accused of adultery. The narrative reflects the rigid patriarchal structures of the time and the emotional struggles of individuals caught within these social confines.[4]
