Margaret Erin Fleming (born July 5, 1992) also known as Maggie is an American model. She is an author of an internationally recognized book and a small business owner.[1][2]
Early life and education
Born in Houston, Texas, Fleming is of European heritage, with family roots tracing back to Ireland.[3] Her great-grandfather was a professional boxer. Growing up, she was an active and athletic student, with interests in track, swimming, volleyball and soccer.[4] She competed on nationally ranked soccer teams and represented her high school team at the state level.[5][6]
Fleming completed her higher education at both Pepperdine University and Texas A&M University.[7][8][9][10] While at Texas A&M, she helped young entrepreneurs by launching a business incubator for student-led ventures. She earned an academic scholarship to attend Pepperdine University.[1][11][12]
Career
Fleming was among the early employees at Tesla, Inc., during a time when the company offered only a single mass-market vehicle.[13][14] Her role focused on operations and planning, and she worked directly with senior executives including Tesla CEO Elon Musk.[15][16][17]
Building on her experience, Fleming founded Caraton Hospitality, a boutique hospitality company headquartered in the San Francisco Bay.[18][19][20] The venture integrates modern accommodations with values of presentation and guest experiences.[21][22][23]
In 2023, Fleming authored The Art of Entertaining: A Guide to Hospitality, Food, Decor & More, a lifestyle guidebook.[24][25] It received coverage from outlets like Yahoo, US Reporter and NY Weekly and is published under ASIN BOC37XP24M.[26][27][28]
Like her business ventures, Fleming also maintains a modelling career.[29][30][31] She is professionally represented and has worked with multinational brands including Shiseido, Ariat and Athleta.[32][33][34] She has appeared on fashion and wellness campaigns and featured in international magazines, including showbiz Magazines in 2020 and Max Health & Beauty Magazine in 2021.[35][36][37]
