Mahavir Pratap Sharma is an Indian entrepreneur. He is the founder and director of Oscar Exports, He is the founding member and past president and trustee of TiE Rajasthan(www.tierajasthan.org),
Early life[edit]
Mahavir Sharma was born in Jaipur on January 1967. He completed his schooling from St. Xavier's School, Jaipur and graduation from Maharaja College, Jaipur, University of Rajasthan.
Professional life[edit]
Before starting Oscar exports in 1993,he worked at the international trading market for six years in USA. To promote entrepreneurship among youth, he started a festival name Changing Tomorrow(ChaT) in August 2011 in association with AIESEC Global Village.[1] In the year 2012, he with his fellow TIE members founded an angel investor organization in Jaipur with the name Rajasthan Angel Investor Network(RAIN). He is also the chairman of leading IT company - HttpCart.[2]
Contribution[edit]
For the past 10 years Mr. Mahavir Pratap Sharma has been city director and now a trustee of Jaipur Virasat Foundation.[3] He has conceptualized and delivered the Jaipur Heritage International Festival which has been approved by UNESCO as a tool to promote tourism and sustainability in the cultural field.[4]
