Maheep Singh is an Indian stand-up comedian and storyteller from Patiala, Punjab. He is the founder of the New Delhi Comedy Club.
Career
Singh began his stand-up career in 2013, drawing inspiration from his personal experiences and observations.[1][2] His comedic style often includes humorous takes on everyday life, relationships, and societal norms.[3][4][5]
He made his debut in the movie *Jaspal* (2024) and TV show Baked (2015).[6][7][8]
Singh is also a guest judge in the show India's Got Latent.[9][10][11]
Education
Singh completed a Master of Arts (English Literature) from Himachal Pradesh University in 2005.
Controversies
Heated Argument with Rakhi Sawant
In October 2024, Singh was involved in a heated argument with actress Rakhi Sawant on the set of India's Got Latent. The disagreement escalated, leading Sawant to throw a chair on stage and walk off.[12][13][14]
