Mahsa Marashi (born 24 July 1990) is an Iranian kamancheh player, vocal composer, and singer.

Early life and education[edit]

Marashi was born on into a cultured and music-loving family.

She started playing music at the age of five and passed the Xylophone course. The instrument that she chose after that was Tonbak, and she also learned the Professional course of Tonbak from Master Ali Akbar Khadem. She played the Iranian violin for two years and then entered the music conservatory. She planned to continue playing the violin in the conservatory, when Maleeha Saeedi introduced her to the kamancheh.

She learned the kamancheh from master Saeed Farajpouri. After graduating from the Conservatory of Music, she entered the Faculty of Art and Architecture. She studied music in college and took singing courses at the same time. She started the vocal class from Karim Saleh Azimi, and trained for a short time with Mahsa Vahdat, and after joined his orchestra with Parvaz Homay, and she experienced several performances in Iran and abroad with this group.

In 2016 she started an orchestra named "Avay Ariyana" under her supervision, and she was also responsible for singing and playing the violin.
