The company opened its first luxury hotel, Cheval Blanc Courcheval in 2006 as part of LVMH's expansion into the luxury hotel and hospitality sector.
In July 2013, LVMH acquired the Hotel St-Barth Isle de France in the French West Indies.[2] Following renovations, the hotel was relaunched as the Cheval Blanc St Barth Isle de France in the next year.
In September 2021, the Cheval Blanc Paris opened after 7 years of renovations as part of the Samaritaine redevelopment.[3]
