Malý Žitný ostrov is a river island in Slovakia and in Hungary that lies next to the larger Žitný ostrov island.
The island is delineated by the Danube in the north and the Moson Danube (Hungarian: Mosoni-Duna) from the south and the west. It detaches from the main flow of the Danube to the south of Bratislava and then rejoins the river at the Hungarian municipality of Vének, northeast of Győr.
