Bird Island near Námestovo (Slovak: Vtáčí ostrov pri Námestove) is a small island (1.6-hectare (4.0-acre)) located on the Oravská priehrada water reservoir in northern Slovakia, to the east of the town of Námestovo. The island's origin is artificial, it came into existence after the flooding of a hill above the confluence of the rivers White Orava and Polhoranka.

In the present day, the island is an important nesting and breeding ground for the black-headed gull, Mediterranean gull, common tern, as well as several species of ducks. For this reason, the island is a part of the Horná Orava Protected Landscape Area and of the Protected Bird Area Horná Orava, in the second strictest zone of conservation, zone B.

The island is not accessible to the public.
