Mallory Rushton (born February 12, 1997) is a Canadian ice hockey forward, currently playing with the Metropolitan Riveters of the National Women's Hockey League (NWHL).

Career[edit]

During high school, she played for the New Hampton School varsity team, being named school captain in her senior year.

From 2015 to 2019, she attended the Rochester Institute of Technology, scoring 37 points in 134 NCAA games. She finished her collegiate career with the ninth highest number of games played in the university's history.[1]

After graduating, she signed her first professional contract with the NWHL's Metropolitan Riveters.[2] She scored 13 points in 24 games in her rookie NWHL season, finishing second on the Riveters in assists. SHe scored her first career NWHL goal in February 2020, the game-winning goal in a 4-3 victory over the Buffalo Beauts.[3]

Rushton has a bachelor's degree in business marketing from RIT. She was a Pittsburgh Penguins fan growing up.[5]
