Tera Hofmann is a Canadian ice hockey goaltender, currently playing with the Metropolitan Riveters of the National Women's Hockey League (NWHL).
Career[edit]
She played high school hockey at Ursula Franklin Academy and with the Durham West Jr. Lightning.
From 2016 to 2020, she attended Yale University, often splitting netminding duties with Gianna Meloni.[1] She was named to the ECAC All-Academic Team three times.[2]
After graduating, she signed her first professional contract with the Metropolitan Riveters for the 2020–21 NWHL season.[3] She had been drafted 16th overall by the team in the 2020 NWHL Draft.[4]
Style of play[edit]
Hofmann has been described as having a more stand-up style of play, preferring to stay on her feet as opposed to dropping into a butterfly.[5]
