Manas Energy Management Inc(Turkish:Manas Enerji Yönetimi A.Ş.) is a multinational corporation headquartered in ASO 1. Organize Sanayi Bölgesi, Sincan, Ankara, Turkey[2] that designs, develops, produces and sells smart metering products.[3]
Manas is a founding member of Ölçübir(Measurement Industrialists and Businessmen Union Association) which has been established in 2003.[4]
Overview[edit]
From 1996 up to today, entirely with local capital and technology,[5] Manas Energy Management Inc had developed products and solutions based on smart meter systems and become the innovator company in the sector.[citation needed]
At the same time, Manas follows its activities as the sole authorized distributor of Itron[6][7][8] with residential, commercial & industrial type mechanical gas meters, regulators, water meters and heat meters.[9][10][11] From 2010, Manas implement necessary transfer of technology and investments to produce mechanical meters completely locally.
Branches[edit]
Manas Energy Management Inc operates branches all over Turkey including major cities such as İstanbul, İzmit, Eskişehir and Bolu. The company also operates branch offices in Cairo, Egypt(responsible for Middle East and North Africa operations) and in Kampala, Uganda(responsible for East Africa operations).
Headquarters[edit]
The headquarters of the company is located in ASO 1. Organize Sanayi Bölgesi, Sincan, Ankara. The new headquarters have been constructed and the company has moved to its new location in October, 2015.[12]
