Manita Hang (Khmer: ហង្ស ម៉ានីតា, born September 7, 1998) is a Cambodian-French model and beauty pageant titleholder. She was crowned the 6th Miss Universe Cambodia 2022 and will represent Cambodia at Miss Universe 2022 pageant.[1]
Early life[edit]
Manita was born in France . She was born to a French father and Cambodian mother. Manita lived in France with her family and went back to Cambodia when she was nine years old. She studied Lycée français René Descartes de Phnom Penh. In December 2021, she graduated from CamEd Business School in Phnom Penh with a Bachelor's Degree of Accounting and Finance.
Pageantry[edit]
Miss Tourism Cambodia 2015[edit]
Manita started her beauty pageant career in 2015, she was crowned Miss Tourism Cambodia 2015.
Miss Tourism Metropolitan International 2016[edit]
On November 18, 2016, Manita represented Cambodia at Miss Tourism International Metropolitan 2016 at Nagaworld Hotel in Phnom Penh and placed third to Amanda Obdam, who represented Thailand and entered the Top 10 at Miss Universe 2020.
Miss Universe Cambodia 2022[edit]
On June 15, 2022, Manita competed against 19 other contestants at the Miss Universe Cambodia 2022 pageant held at Bayon TV Steung Meanchey Studio in Phnom Penh and won following awards:
- Coronation night
- Best in Production Number
- Beyond Beautiful Smile Award
- Rian Fernandez designer choice award
- Swimsuit competition
- PEGARRO Swim Top Model
- HK7 Skin Care Award
- Preliminary competition
- Miss Congeniality
- Social Media Star
At the end of the event, Manita Hang won the competition and she was crowned by outgoing titleholder Miss Universe Cambodia 2021 Marady Ngin.[2]
Miss Universe 2022[edit]
As Miss Universe Cambodia, Manita will represent Cambodia at the Miss Universe 2022.
