Mankoo is a surname found in Jat community that is mainly concentrated in Punjab, India. They mainly practice Sikhism. It is believed to be started by Manu, one of the four sons of Lord Vishavkarma. There are villages almost entirely inhabited by Mankoo clan in the Ludhiana districts of Indian Punjab.
