Mankoo is a surname found in the Jat community that is mainly concentrated in Punjab, India. They mainly practice Sikhism. It is believed to have originated with Manu, one of the four sons of Lord Vishavkarma. There are villages almost entirely inhabited by the Mankoo clan in the Ludhiana district of Indian Punjab.
