Dr. Manmohan Vaidya hails from Nagpur in India. He holds a Ph.D. in Radio Chemistry (part of Nuclear Chemistry) from Nagpur University. After finishing his doctorate, he served as a faculty member for a few years in the same university.
Dr. Vaidya has traveled to many countries such as USA, UK, Kenya, Guyana, Trinidad and Tobago, Surinam, Jamaica, Barbados, Fiji, New Zealand, Australia to name a few. Between 1993 and 94, he was posted to USA as an HSS pracharak.
He is well versed in Marathi, Hindi, English, Gujarathi. A voracious reader, columnist[1], and an eloquent speaker, Dr. Vaidya is often invited to deliver guest lectures and speeches.
Association with RSS[edit]
A Swayamsevak(RSS Volunteer) from childhood, Dr. Vaidya became a Pracharak(full-time volunteer) about 4 decades ago. He has held several positions and responsibilities at local branch-level, state, and national levels. As a Prant Pracharak, he worked in Gujarat state for 10 years[2]. Currently, he holds the position of All India Joint General Secretary for RSS[3][4]. Prior to that, he was All India in-charge - public relations and media.
