Mantra Softech India is a Indian privately owned biometric device manufacturer.[1] Currently, it has 50% market share in the Indian biometric device market.[2]

Mantra started its operations in 2006 by manufacturing the first fingerprint and IRIS sensor in India, has become India’s largest manufacturer in 2019.[3]
Business[edit]
It is the only Indian company to manufacture Aadhaar based biometric devices which are currently used by the Indian government for the social welfare scheme, and also by telecom and banking sector for KYC purposes.[4] Currently, it delivers biometric products in various government-led social welfare scheme like Ayushman Bharat Yojana, MGNREGA, Atal Pension Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana (PMJDY), Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana (PMJJBY), Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana (PMSBY), Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Vaya Vandana Yojana.[5][6][7][8]
The company provides products such as fingerprint scanners, Iris scanners and Palm Vein scanners.[9][10][11] Mantra Softech employs over 350+ employees and generates revenue of $32 million (INR 200 Crore) each year.[12]

Mantra is one of the leading Indian manufacturer of Biometric fingerprint and Iris sensors. Its current product capacity is 150K to 250K sensors per month.[13][14]
