)^[1]^[2] is an upcoming Bengali-language action thriller film written and directed by Sanjoy Somadder.^[3] It is produced by Jeet, Gopal Madnani and Amit Jumrani under Grassroot Entertainment and Jeetz Filmworks. The film stars Jeet, Jeetu Kamal, Sushmita Chattopadhyay and Bidya Sinha Saha Mim in the pivotal roles. The music of the film will be composed by Aneek Dhar and Savvy,^[4] while the action sequences are designed by Ravi Varma.

It will mark Sanjoy Somadder's first-ever directorial attempt outside of Bangladesh. It will also be his directorial debut in a full length feature film.^[5] The film is scheduled to release on 24 November 2023 simultaneously in Bengali and Hindi in India and Bangladesh.^[6]^[7]^[8]^[9]^[10]

Premise[edit]

The story is centred around the cruelty of humans and the consequences when people lose their humanity.^[11] Jeet plays the role of Arjun, an honest police officer. But circumstances compelled him to become one of the most wanted drug lords named Victor, to save his only daughter's life.^[12]

The music of the film will be composed by Aneek Dhar and Savvy, while the background score is composed by Anbu Shelvan.

The first single titled "Tumi Amari Hobe" in Bengali and "Udd Jaun Tere Sang" in Hindi was simultaneously released on 31 October 2023.^[17]^[18]

Development[edit]

The film was announced on 30 November 2022 on Jeet's birthday.^[19] On 14 December 2022, the star cast was announced.^[20]^[21]^[22]

Filming[edit]

On 2nd December 2022, Jeet announced the "Shubh Muhurat" of the film. The film was wrapped up on 30th June 2023.^[23]^[24] The total filming was completed in 40 days. Major portions of the film was shot at Kolkata, Purulia and Thailand.^[25]^[26]

Marketing[edit]

The first look of Jeet from the movie was released on 19 September 2023 on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi.^[27]^[28] The second poster was released on 24 October, on the occasion of Bijaya Dashami.^[29] The third poster was released 28 October 2023, on the day of Lakshmi Puja.^[30]

The Bengali teaser of the film was released on 14 October 2023 on the occasion of Mahalaya.^[31]^[32] The Hindi teaser was released one day later, on 15 October 2023.^[33]^[34]^[35]

Release[edit]

The film is scheduled to release in the cinemas on 24 November 2023.^[36] On 27 October 2023, Jaaz Multimedia announced on their Facebook page that the film will be released simultaneously in Bangladesh on the same day.^[37]^[38]
