Marco Di Lorenzo
Marco Di Lorenzo (born May 11, 1992) is an Italian-American entrepreneur and investor. He is the founder and chief executive officer of Jetswave Aviation, a private jet charter company established in 2024 and operating internationally. Di Lorenzo is noted for expanding Jetswave through branding partnerships across major sports, including European football, the NFL, the NBA, padel, and combat sports.[1][2][3]
Early life and education
Di Lorenzo was born in Palermo, Italy.[4] He later relocated to the United States, where he pursued higher education in aviation and business.
He earned a bachelor's degree in aviation management from Bridgewater State University in 2020,[5] followed by an MBA in Business Administration from the University of Massachusetts Lowell in 2022.[5]
In 2020, he completed a certificate program in Business Analytics at Harvard Business School.[5]
Career
Jetswave Aviation
Marco Di Lorenzo founded Jetswave Aviation in Boston in 2024.[6] The company operates as a global private jet charter service catering to high-net-worth individuals, celebrities, athletes, and executives.
Under his leadership, Jetswave expanded into seven markets, including the United States, the United Kingdom, Italy, France, Spain, Switzerland, and the United Arab Emirates.[7]
Jetswave also developed partnerships with luxury hotels, concierge firms, family offices, and international sports figures.[7]
Sports partnerships and branding
Beginning in 2024, Di Lorenzo led Jetswave into high-profile sports sponsorships. The brand became visible in European football leagues—including the Premier League, Ligue 1, and La Liga—as well as the NFL and NBA.[1]
In 2025, the company entered the emerging market of padel, partnering with Spanish professional player Mike Yanguas during the Premier Padel Bordeaux P2 tournament.[2][3]
Jetswave also sponsored the BKFC25 event held in Rome on October 25, 2025, where the brand appeared inside the ring and VIP areas during the headlining match between Chris Camozzi and Alessio Sakara.[1]
Recognition
In 2025, the San Francisco Examiner listed Di Lorenzo among the “Top 5 Remarkable Entrepreneurs to Watch,” highlighting Jetswave’s expansion strategy and global positioning.[8]
