Telibandha Lake also known as Marine Drive Raipur is a 350 metre-long promenade along the GE Road in Raipur, India.
Background
The road and promenade were constructed by Raipur Municipal Corporation. It is a 'C'-shaped six-lane road along the Telibandha lake. It is situated on Telibandha, 2 km east from City centre Ghadi Chowk. Telibandha lake is also known as Raipur's Marine drive because of its resemblance to that of Marine drive in Mumbai; the street lights resemble a string of pearls in a necklace when viewed from flight.[citation needed]
The Telibandha lake was beautified and developed by the Tourism Department of Chhattisgarh. This place hosts India's fifth tallest National Tricolour Flag[1][2][3][4]
