Mariya Rusalenko is a Belarusian professor of Endocrinology and Public Health. She is also the deputy director of Republican Research Center for Radiation Medicine and Human Ecology, which was established to research on the after effects of the Chernobyl disaster.[1][2]
Research
Mariya Rusalenko has contributed to the research on Belarusian populations on post-Chernobyl effects of thyroid diseases, Diabetes and Public health including four patents in the field of Endocrinology.[3] She is also on the scientific editorial board of Medical and biological problems of life activities Journal of the Ministry of Health of Belarus.[4]
She was nominated as the Director General of Belarus Maldives Cultural Center and initiated research-based medicine in Maldives with Belarusian State institutions. [5][6]
Authorship
One of her books, *Hormones and Preserving Youth*, was endorsed and recognized by the President of United Nations General Assembly H.E. Abdulla Shahid. The book was also endorsed by the Minister of State of Health of Maldives, H.E Shah Mahir.[7]
