Mary Jean Dureza

Mary Jean Dureza (MJae) is a Filipino educator, speaker, and researcher who's currently based in the Kingdom of Bahrain. She's specialized particularly in technology education, using gamification, utilizing different platforms in teaching, and advanced education tenets. She completed her Master's degree in Technology Education from the Technological University of the Philippines.

Research publication[edit]

Her research entitled "Instructional Software for Mechanical Drawing" or "ISMD", was published in the Philippine National Library[1] in 2012 and the Research Gate.[2] This study was timely and relevant in today's education landscape, especially during and after the pandemic.

Moreover, her action research "Work-Related Stressors of Secondary Teachers: Basis for Developing a Stress Management Program" is currently in its final review by the International Research Journal of Science, Technology, Education, and Management(IRJSTEM) for publication.

She has written a paper for her advanced statistics course "Determining the Confidence Level of School Administrators towards Filipino Secondary Teachers in Bahrain."[3]

Currently, she is completing her Doctor of Education, majoring in Industrial Education Management (Ed. D.EIM) in the college of industrial education, Technological University of the Philippines.

Content creator and book publication[edit]

Recently, she published a book titled Tidbits of Hope. Aside from that, she also manages their YouTube channel which began in 2019 when the pandemic hit. Presently, she is working on the upcoming release of the book entitled Defiance. She is also one of the owners of the soon-to-be-opened company called Wisarte.[4]

Professional affiliation[edit]

She is an active member of the Philippine Teachers Association Bahrain (PTAB) and the Toastmaster Club International.
