MatchWare[edit]
MatchWare is a privately held[1] software company that develops professional mind mapping and enterprise meeting management solutions[2][3], with headquarters in Denmark.[4] Their software lineup includes:[5]
- Mediator: Flash, HTML, and interactive CD authoring, 1993 - 2017[6][7][8]
- ScreenCorder: screen capturing and recording[9]
- MindView: mind mapping and Gantt charting, 2003 - present.[10][11][12][13] Formerly known as OpenMind.[14]
- MeetingBooster: meeting management, 2012 - present.[15][16]
- NoteControl: research and citations, 2012 - present.[17][18]
History[edit]
In 1992, MatchWare was founded by friends in Herning, Denmark to create multimedia authoring software for education.[19][5] Later that year, they released Mediator, a professional authoring tool used in both education and commercial settings.
In 2003, Matchware released OpenMind, now MindView, to complement Mediator by creating storyboard presentations. MindView became an award-winning professional and educational mind-mapping software, focused on Microsoft Office integration and user-friendliness. [19][20]
MeetingBooster, an enterprise, cloud-based application for meeting management, was released in 2012. [19]
