Matthew Cook was born in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia on December 29, 2004[1]. He was raised in a suburb called La Perouse in Sydney.

Cook started acting in his schools drama system in 2017 and 2018 and has also acted in Caspa[2] in 2018. Cook than began acting in Helen O'Grady Drama Academy[3] which lead him to act in theater shows in Sydney in 2018 and 2019.
