Matthieu Tondeur (born 1985 in Lens, France) is a French Shanghai-based Filmmaker, Photographer and visual artist.
History[edit]
Performing VJing as "Chromaphase" mainly in France and Asia, he is considered as one of the most talented visual live artist in Shanghai.[1] In 2012, he begins to build permanent visual system for venues and music festivals.[2] In 2015, he became a filmmaker by producing several science-fiction short films such as 3 Men (2015).[3] and Sentient (2016)[4] that were well received by western and Chinese medias.[5][6][7][8] He often builds his own practical effects and sets to give a special atmosphere to its productions. He also cooperated with local Nu-Jazz Artist Amine,[9] Lin Feng and VICE China on music videos.
