Maya Vishwakarma
Maya Vishwakarma is an Indian social activist,[1][2][3] referred as Padwoman Of India by media.[4][5]
Maya Vishwakarma, Founder & President of Sukarma Foundation, an NGO, natively belongs to village Mehragaon (Sainkheda) district Narsinghpur, Madhya Pradesh. She is based in San Francisco, California, and meanswhile working in her hometown district Narsinghpur on a self-sustainable village on which she made a documentary film and wrote a book titled "Swaraj Mumkin Hai" for education and awareness about sustainable villages.[6]
