Mehul Devkala (Gujarati: મેહુલ દેવકલા) is a young Gujarati poet, editor and social activist[1]

Life[edit]
He did his schooling at Vadodara. He earned a bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Sardar Patel University, Vidhyanagar.
Literary style[edit]
He grew up with a deep passion for literature and art since his childhood. He writes in various poetic forms ranging from lyrical to prose and choosing subjects from day-to-day life and surrealism. He is working as a Software professional in an MNC and lived in cities like Pune and Mumbai for many years which reflects as a major themes in his work as a melancholy of mega cities and global issues. His work as an activist and keen interest in revolutionary movements around the world also shapes his poetry.
Poetry recitation[edit]
Four day poetry festival by Kitabkhana, Mumbai has been inaugurated with his poetry in 2014.[4]He has also edited special issue of Lakhara for Bhasha Research and Publication Centre in 2015 which was focused on Literature from North east India.He has recited his poetry at the state level Kala Utsav held at Godhra in 2016.
