Metropolis is a crime drama television series project created by John Stephens and Danny Cannon, inspired by Superman comics and in development as of 2018.
Premise[edit]
Before the emergence of Superman, Lois Lane and Lex Luthor investigate fringe science and other dark secrets in Metropolis.

On January 30, 2018, DC Universe revealed it is developing “Metropolis,” a Lois Lane/Lex Luthor series based on a story by Danny Cannon and John Stephens with a straight to series order, with Cannon directing the pilot written by Stephens.[1] On May 2, 2018, Metropolis will be redeveloped.[2]
